Good Student Car Insurance

Reader’s Question:

My husband is planning to give our son a new car on his high school graduation. He is a strong candidate to graduate first honors. I wonder if there is a good student car insurance. I think I’ve read it before but I’m not sure if my memory is serving me right.

Wow! Congratulations, Laura, for a job well done. Good students are actually a result of good genes and/or proper parenting. Regarding your question, yes, there’s indeed such a thing as good student car insurance. Though normally car insurance companies consider students as high risk drivers for being not that experienced when it comes to driving, some reward them in the form of good student car insurance if the numbers in their report cards are impressive. Good grades reflect a student’s intelligence which can be translated to a good driving performance. Thus, car insurance companies sell them insurance at discounted rates.

As I’ve said, students are often considered high risk drivers because of their age which gives them an impression that they are less experienced on the road. But God really blesses you because your son is a strong contender to be the valedictorian and you will get lower car insurance rates for that! And your son is also lucky to have parents like you who raised him well that resulted to his being a good student. And because of that, he’ll be driving a new car after his high school graduation.

Well, Laura, keep up the good work!
